In a statement on Thursday, Esmaeil Baqaei said the terrorist attack has violated all Islamic principles as well as the legal, international and human rights norms.
The Iranian spokesman also expressed his sympathy with the bereaved families of the victims and the Pakistani government and nation.
Baqaei reiterated Irans stance in condemnation of all types of terrorism and violent extremism.
He also stressed the need for closer regional and international cooperation and coordination to prevent and combat terrorism and punish the perpetrators of terrorist activities.
A powerful explosion in Quetta killed at least three people and injured 21 others, including security personnel, shopkeepers, and bystanders on March 27.
The blast, which targeted a police van on routine patrol, left officers inside the vehicle severely injured.
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the blast, saying such attacks, particularly during Ramadan, reflect the nefarious designs of terrorists.
