Speaking to ICANA on Sunday, Araqchi described the negotiations on Irans peaceful nuclear program as the battle of wills.
He noted that the nuclear negotiators are heartened by the supports from the Iranian people in the course of the talks, adding that the negotiations will come to a conclusion only when the rights of the Iranians are upheld.
Dismissing speculation that the negotiations will extend into summer, Araqchi said Iran is not in a hurry, but it does not cause a delay either.
The Foreign Ministry is making every effort to have the sanctions lifted as soon as possible, but not at any price, he added.
The minister emphasized that the negotiators will proceed with the talks patiently and calmly and will by no means back off from protecting the Iranian peoples rights, including the right to uranium enrichment.
Irans viewpoint on the issue of enrichment has been already made clear, the minister added.
Iran and the US have held five rounds of talks since April 12, mediated by Oman, with the purpose of reaching a deal on Irans nuclear program and the removal of sanctions on Tehran.
