WASHINGTON, 22nd April, 2026 (WAM) -- US President Donald Trump has announced the extension of the ceasefire with Iran while maintaining the naval blockade on its ports.
President Trump stated in a press briefing that this suspension will allow Iran to reach a unified proposal, and that discussions will continue on their course until a resolution is reached one way or another.
