WASHINGTON D.C., 26th April, 2025 (WAM) - In line with ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and advance shared strategic objectives, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, met with key Trump Administration officials in Washington, D.C., from 23 to 24 April 2025.
During the visit, Khaldoon Al Mubarak held meetings with a number of US officials, to engage in discussions aimed at advancing the UAE investment plans and initiatives addressed in March during the official visit of H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, to Washington D.C. These initiatives are intended to deepen the UAE-US economic relationship and substantially increase the UAE's existing investments in the US economy in artificial intelligence, advanced technology, infrastructure, industry and energy.
Al Mubarak met with US Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, Special Advisor on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Currencies David Sacks, Principal Deputy National Security Advisor Alex Wong, and Deputy Director National Economic Council Nels Nordquist.
Al Mubarak was accompanied by Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the US, as well as a number of officials from UAE entities.
