DALMA ISLAND, 1st May 2025 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, paid a visit to Dalma Island, where he met with several residents of the island.
During the visit, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan praised the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasising the leadership's commitment to the development of the region and to ensuring a dignified life for Emiratis.
He commended the ongoing efforts and integrated development plans, highlighting the significant resources allocated by the wise leadership to follow up on the affairs of UAE citizens and meet their needs.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan stressed the importance of development projects that contribute to improving the quality of life for UAE citizens across all regions of the country.
Reaffirming his continuous support for family and social values, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan remarked, "Residential Neighbourhood Majlises are like schools that promote communication among residents, providing a daily meeting place for families and neighbours."
He urged participants of Residential Neighbourhood Majlises to uphold Emirati traditions, raise the younger generation with good values, and instill in them a sense of patriotism and loyalty to the nation and its leadership.
He also praised the role of Emirati women in supporting the country's development and prosperity.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan engaged in open discussions with attendees on several national and local issues, expressing his commitment to maintaining close ties with UAE citizens, checking on their well-being, and ensuring their quality of life.
The residents of Dalma Island expressed their deep appreciation for H.H. Sheikh Hamdan's visit. They affirmed that his keenness to meet with them in person reflects the strong bond between the leadership and the people. They also praised the continuous support of the UAE leadership in advancing development and enhancing living standards, stating that the visit serves as a great morale boost and reflects the leadership's approach of listening to and addressing the needs of citizens across the country.
