ABU DHABI, 6th May 2025 (WAM) -- UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received a phone call from His Excellency Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq.
The two leaders discussed the close ties between their countries and explored avenues for enhanced cooperation, particularly in development and economic-focused sectors, highlighting opportunities to strengthen coordination in ways that serve shared interests and promote the prosperity and wellbeing of their peoples.
The two sides also discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern, with a focus on recent developments in the Middle East.
They underscored the importance of supporting efforts to advance peace and promote stability and security across the region for the benefit of its peoples.
