KUWAIT, 10th May, 2025 (WAM) -- Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, conveyed his profound satisfaction with the selection of the United Arab Emirates as the Guest of Honour at this year's Arab Media Forum. He lauded the choice as a fitting recognition of the UAE's significant and impactful contributions to the Arab media sphere and its pioneering approach in fostering media initiatives, adopting advanced technologies, and producing high-caliber content.

During his address at the 20th Arab Media Forum, Al-Mutairi emphasised the pivotal role of digital media, across all its forms and platforms, in shaping contemporary events. He stressed the imperative for all stakeholders to address emerging challenges with strategic foresight, professional expertise, a comprehensive understanding of evolving dynamics, and preparedness for an increasingly complex and sophisticated future, grounded in enhanced capabilities and a steadfast commitment to values and responsibility.
The minister further noted Kuwait's enduring commitment to media, recognising it as a cornerstone of development and a vehicle for public enlightenment.
