CAIRO, 3rd June, 2025 (WAM) -- Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, has extended his congratulations to the Kingdom of Bahrain, its leadership, government, parliament and people, on the occasion of its election to a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council for the 2026-2027 term.
In a statement issued today, Al Yamahi said this achievement is a reflection of Bahrain's balanced and principled foreign policy under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He expressed his best wishes to Bahrain for success in fulfilling its responsibilities on the Security Council, in a way that promotes justice, peace and sustainable development, and supports Arab causes and the aspirations of people in the region and around the world.
