GAZA, 29th April, 2025 (WAM) -- Five Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured on Tuesday morning as Israeli airstrikes continued to hit the Al Mawasi area of Khan Yunis Governorate, southern Gaza, amid a catastrophic deterioration in the humanitarian crisis and severe shortages of food and water.
Medical sources said four people were martyred and over 30 others injured when Israeli forces bombed tents of displaced people in the Al-Iqlimiya area, south of the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.
A fifth person died from wounds sustained in an earlier attack in Khan Yunis, the sources added.
Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, and north of Rafah. Artillery shelling also continues in the Al-Masdar area and east of Al-Maghazi in central Gaza.
